I finished one Trekking Jaywalker sock. I really don’t like that yarn. It’s just not soft. I also ordered some amazing sock yarn from Sweetgeorgia. I got the color “River” and cast on for another Jaywalker. It is the prettiest yarn ever. I’m posting at school, so taking pictures of a partial sock in public is not happening.

I’m going to go and get the yarn and pattern to make the Dale of Norway Torino sweater. I’m excited. I really want to make it, in the lighter colorway. I got some new yarn yesterday. Love the yarn store in Boonton! (Time to Knit)

Did you know hitting ctrl+R makes the page refresh…therefore clearing a post in progress? IT DOES. It’s not just F5. Jennie and I went to Purl yesterday. We went there last June. I still don’t like that store. It’s too tiny to require 3 people working there at the same time. There’s already barely enough room to walk around. The selection of Lorna’s Laces has gotten sad. Too much of their “custom color” sock yarn. I got the one lone hank of Shepherd Sport. I also got 4 hanks of 2 different colors of KPPPM.

I’m knitting stuff. I feel like if I post about them, I won’t finish. Two sets of 40″ size 1 Addi Naturas broke on me. The first pair, the needle snapped at the join when I was knitting, as did the second pair. The other end of the needle snapped off in my knitting bag. I gave up on them.  

I made a cute scarf. The pattern is here. Only two balls of Big Wool. Go make one! Also, I put up a Christmas stocking pattern. (Kind of late huh) Socks… I didn’t want to make the Jaywalker socks. But once I started…
