Dark grays are my new navy. It has to be the right shade of gray for me…because there are some ugly grays out there.

Mine is in Frog Tree’s Meriboo, in two colors of gray, and an oyster.

Then this evening I cast on for this download Tiger Trouble

(ravelry link), using two strands of a handpaintedyarn.com laceweight in a super dark gray that almost looks like octopus ink. I think it’ll be cute for fall with some sort of shirt underneath. We’ll see.

That brings me to one of my new favorite knitting magazines (Verena is number one by far!)…Yarn Forward. I’ve stopped buying Vogue Knitting because they’re designs keep getting uglier, amongst other reasons. While I’m not in love with 100% of their patterns…I can totally justify a magazine purchase for even a single pattern. And they have digital copies!
